Join us at the next Flower Summit.

Anne Long is a flower farmer, educator, and speaker based in Skagit Valley, Washington, and the founder of The Dahlia House, an urban flower farm and education-focused floral brand known for making flower growing feel accessible, joyful, and achievable for everyday people.

With over two decades of growing experience, Anne has built a reputation for helping gardeners and floral lovers grow beautiful blooms without overwhelm, combining practical instruction with an upbeat, encouraging teaching style. Her work centers on helping people create what she calls “floral magic” in real life, even when time is limited.

Anne is widely respected in the floral community and frequently teaches and speaks at events, including major garden festivals in the Pacific Northwest. She’s known for making technical growing topics (like anemones, ranunculus, and dahlias) simple and approachable for home growers and professionals alike.

She has also appeared on podcasts and educational platforms sharing her journey,  including the challenges and setbacks that shaped her business, which many growers connect with because of how honest and practical her story is.
